Peninsula 88 is a riverfront condominium development in DC. The overall design was inspired by the property’s location at the confluence of the Anacostia and Potomac rivers, along with east asian design influences and a spa-like atmosphere. The color palette uses shades of blue to reflect the water, along with light and airy textures to evoke a serene environment. I also used sumi ink to create a pattern from the chinese characters for river and 88 to be used in backgrounds and as graphic elements.
